Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using CampusWage (the app at app.campuswage.com and this website), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use CampusWage.

2. Who can use CampusWage

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian agree for you.

3. Your account

• Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us straight away at hello@campuswage.com if you think someone else has used it.
• One person per account. Do not share your account.

4. Your data stays yours

You own what you put into CampusWage: shifts, pay, classes, tasks and everything else. You give us permission to store and process it only to run CampusWage for you, as described in the Privacy policy. You can export it from Settings, and ask us to delete it, at any time.

5. Estimates, not advice

CampusWage calculates pay, deductions (CPP, EI and income tax), refunds, benefits and study-permit work hours from the information you enter and from published rules. These are estimates to help you plan. They are not financial, tax, legal or immigration advice, and they can be wrong if the information entered is incomplete or the rules change.

Your employer's pay statement, the Canada Revenue Agency, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are the official sources. Check with them before you rely on a figure for a decision, and follow the conditions of your permit.

6. Using CampusWage fairly

Do not misuse the service. That includes trying to reach another person's data, disrupting or overloading the service, reverse engineering it to get around its limits, using it for anything unlawful, or reselling it.

7. Services from others

Some features rely on other companies, such as Google (sign-in and Calendar), Supabase (the database) and Cloudflare (hosting). When you connect Google, Google's own terms also apply to your Google account. We are not responsible for services we do not run.

8. Plans and payment

CampusWage is in early access, and every feature is free for now. When the Pro plan launches, its price will be shown before you subscribe; you will never be charged without choosing a paid plan. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time. Anything you created stays yours and exportable if you stop paying.

9. Changes and availability

CampusWage is still being built. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We will tell you in advance, where we reasonably can, before removing a feature you rely on. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change applies.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using CampusWage and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where the law allows.

11. Warranty and liability

CampusWage is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or always available, and we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made on the basis of the app's estimates. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
